Ofer Prison Protest, Palestine

In October of last year (2011) I spent just over three weeks travelling around the westbank in Palestine with a group of clowns doing Documentary Photography of their trip. These clowns are part of Circus to Palestine a group of Clowns/ Circus performers from around the UK who give up their time and money to travel to conflict areas and perform for the children affected by the situation. During my time there I spent the majority of the time with the clowns documenting their amazing work but I wanted to witness the other side of the "conflict" so while the clowns were away doing shows one day I decided to join a group of young Palestinians who were protesting against the conditions in the Israeli run prison in Ofer near Ramallah. The following images are a documentation of what occurred that day.
