Photographic Karma, Giving something back....

While in Mumbai I spent a lot of time with a small community of people who live in a migrant workers camp. The camp is also home to India’s outcastes such as people with physical disabilities and deformaties. The community was incredibly warm and welcoming allowing me to spend time getting to know a few of them even though the language barrier was present we still managed to communicate. This community live in tents and there homes are classed as below slum level living. The community touched my heart and helped me to gain a perspective on my life as well as helped me to reaffirm my belief in people.

As a gift to the community I gave the people back the photos I had taken of them on previous visits, this was my way of saying thank you. I did not tell them I would do this and here is the results from the day I went back with the image….
