Today's product photography in London (behind the scenes)

Shooting again for a high end client wish I could show you some of the product shots but unfortunately I can't :-( but I can show you some behind the scenes stuff. So today I had to use a light tent to shoot looking straight down, not a fan of light tents but when you have to use one it pays for itself over and over again. We needed no reflections on the jewellery we were shooting apart from ones we introduced ourselves around the edges of the product using pieces of black card (good trick by John Godwin) so lighting set up was one light from below with two in from either side and shooting through a piece of card with a hole cut out for the lens.
